At-Tin

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 95:1

   وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ ۝١

   Wat-tīni waz-zaitūn(i).

   By the fig and the olive

2. 95:2

   وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ۝٢

   Wa ṭūri sīnīn(a).

   And [by] Mount Sinai

3. 95:3

   وَهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ ۝٣

   Wa hāżal-baladil-amīn(i).

   And [by] this secure city [i.e., Makkah],

4. 95:4

   لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ ۝٤

   Laqad khalaqnal-insāna fī aḥsani taqwīm(in).

   We have certainly created man in the best of stature;

5. 95:5

   ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَـٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَـٰفِلِينَ ۝٥

   Ṡumma radadnāhu asfala sāfilīn(a).

   Then We return him to the lowest of the low,

6. 95:6

   إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ ۝٦

   Illal-lażīna āmanū wa ‘amiluṣ-ṣāliḥāti falahum ajrun gairu mamnūn(in).

   Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.

7. 95:7

   فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ ۝٧

   Famā yukażżibuka ba‘du bid-dīn(i).

   So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?

8. 95:8

   أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ ۝٨

   Alaisallāhu bi'aḥkamil-ḥākimīn(a).

   Is not Allāh the most just of judges?
